Tunescape is an active music discovery website. It displays the most popular Youtube videos from artists who are similar to a particular artist. The idea is simple - search for an artist, and 9 videos from related artists are returned.
The purpose is to provide an alternative to the passive listening experience provided by music apps such as Spotify or Last.fm. The videos help the user get a better sense of the artist, and the site design is much more accessible and clean than most existing music apps.
